Wintrust SBA Lending named top lender in Illinois by U.S. Small Business Administration Illinois District Office

ROSEMONT, Ill. – June 17, 2019 – Wintrust SBA Lending, a division of Wintrust, is now the top SBA lender in the state of Illinois, based on commitments provided in the first half of the 2019 fiscal year, according to the second quarter report by the U.S. Small Business Administration Illinois District Office. The designation exemplifies Wintrust’s commitment to providing local businesses with personalized lending solutions and guidance to help finance strategic growth initiatives.

Loan totals at the end of the first quarter of 2019 marked 10% growth over 2018. Major deals that contributed to Wintrust SBA Lending earning this distinction include real estate acquisitions, funding major expansion for existing companies, strategic acquisitions, and debt refinancing.
