As a real community bank, we thought it was important to create the Charity Master Account to give something back to the community we serve. It is a series of accounts and services designed to fulfill the banking needs of charities, schools and other not-for-profit organizations. Our ultimate goal is to allow these organizations to keep money working towards the cause for which it is meant.

Free NOW Account

• Whether your organization selects a general operating account, a payroll account, a special fund account or all of the above, each and every operating account will never be subject to a monthly service charge, maintenance or activity fee. Other service charges may apply.
• Plus, your first order of checks is free (up to 200 checks).
• Free imaged checks option with CheckManager Plus®.
• Rates are now indexed to the 90-Day Treasury Rate¹ and change weekly so you'll always earn at market rates. It's simply our way of showing that we care about your cause.

Free Accounts for Employees

• Accounts for each salaried employee of the organization are free too!
• As a reward for their good work, we will waive monthly service charges for employee’s traditional checking accounts as well as for first order of safety paper checks. Other service charges may apply. In these days of rising bank service charges, free bank accounts can be viewed as a valuable employee benefit for your staff. We will even provide you with brochures to inform your employees of this cost-saving assistance.

On-Line Banking

• We offer On-Line Banking and Bill Pay service.

Credit Card Processing

• Credit cards have become a convenient and sometimes necessary part of daily operations and fundraising endeavors. Charities and schools often lack the transaction volumes to obtain the most economical processing fees and support costly equipment... resulting in lost revenues or delayed cash flow. To help you in this area, we have formulated a credit card processing system that is both affordable and easy to use.
• This service is available to not-for-profit organizations at a very nominal charge.
• For limited number of fund raising events there may not be a need to purchase costly equipment.
• If you have the processing volume to support your own direct processing system, we still offer discounts on equipment and transaction costs.

Cash Services

• Cash boxes and cash counting services are available to you at no cost. Just call ahead to reserve the boxes and we can even organize them for you!

Credit Availability

• Many times, charities and schools find themselves with opportunities which require the extension of credit-either on a short term or long term basis. Our bank can provide qualified borrowers with loans at competitive rates to meet their needs.

Trust Department and Investment Services

• Our affiliated Wayne Hummer® Wealth Management Group (Wayne Hummer Investment, Wayne Hummer Asset Management Company®, and Wayne Hummer Trust®) offers a variety of services and seminars.

Education Classes

• Teaching young people the basic concepts of finance and banking is an important part of their education in today's complex world. Officers of our bank are available to come and speak to classes from grade school to high school on such issues as fundamental money management skills, how a bank works, how to obtain credit and much more. Tours for qualified groups are also available.
